4th of July is 2 days away and if you’re deciding to do something last minute or spending your day with family or on the go like I am then here is the easiest cocktail for you. A little bubbly plus 2 different add-ins equal chic and easy drinks. When life gives you champagne…make sure you drink it. I’ve always been a huge fan of Korbel, it is a great option if you don’t have your Clicquot or Moet laying around.

The first cocktail is simply champagne with frozen blueberries and strawberries. Throw your fruit in the freezer the night before to make sure it stays chilled and on the day of you have fruit ice cubes without the extra water. Blueberries were on sale so I obviously needed more than a couple of reasons to use them.

Ingredients: Champagne or Prosecco of your choice + blueberries, strawberries, or raspberries
The second cocktail, another simple one is champagne and red, white or blue rock candy. Not everyone is interested in fruit in their cocktails and someone like myself will choose a drink just because it looks pretty. Pretty up this go to beverage with a traditional candy that isn’t around all the time. Also if for some reason you let your bubbly rest a little too long the rock candy will melt and give your drink a whole new taste.

Don’t stress yourself out. Keep it simple and have a safe and Happy 4th of July!
